Receptes.lv published the method on 17 October 2026. The piece calls the two-ingredient nibble a hit online because it is straightforward, very tasty, and easy to adjust to personal taste. All it asks for is chocolate and nuts.
Pieces of chocolate are laid on baking paper and topped with nuts. The tray goes into a heated oven for a few minutes so the chocolate turns soft without starting to run. Out of the oven, the nuts are pressed into that soft chocolate. The tray is then left to cool thoroughly until the chocolate sets again.
Dark chocolate is described as the more wholesome choice, though any chocolate will do, and the nuts can be whichever ones you like. A dried berry can go on top for a sweeter finish.
Captions shared with the clips give slightly different versions. One heats the oven to 50°C for five minutes, places a walnut on each piece, and chills the tray for 10 minutes, with dried fruit or biscuit pieces named as alternatives. Another uses 80°C for five to six minutes with walnuts, pecans and almonds, then flattens the pieces lightly by hand before cooling. A third uses 100 grams each of milk, white and dark chocolate, about two minutes at 175°C, and toppings of walnuts, pistachios, hazelnuts and freeze-dried raspberries, with 15 to 20 minutes in the fridge if the chocolate needs to set faster.
